Merry Christmas!

I know I haven't been very great about updating over here anymore but I have still been blogging. I wanted to wait until after Christmas to post the link so no one would see their Christmas presents. If you're interested in reading my other blog, you can find it here.

I hope everyone has a very happy and safe Christmas!

Where in the world are Ronnie and Sara Webb?

I'm sure everyone is wondering what in the world has happened with our little wedding blog. I know I've been super bad about updating it. I have to be honest, maintaining the excitement of keeping a wedding blog has been super hard for me after the wedding actually happened. I feel like I should be doing more vendor reviews, posting more pictures and finishing our honeymoon posts, but when I feel like I HAVE to do something, it looses the fun for me. I think I will one day get around to doing those things, it just might take me forever. :) In the mean time, I'm thinking about starting a different blog for all of the other things I love in life.

We've actually been keeping really busy since the wedding. Here are a few things we've been up to:

We went to the Renaissance Fair with Sarah and James:

We went to the old car festival in Greenfield Village with my parents, my brother Brian and my niece and nephew, Ethan and Janalynn:

I went to Cedar Point for Halloweekends with Sarah (BONES HIGH FIVE!): We went with Sarah and James to the Maize Maze in Monroe:
and lastly, we went to Smashing Pumpkins at the zoo yesterday:
Smashing pumpkins was A LOT of fun, and we're definitely going to have to do this again next year. Basically all they did was give a different animal pumpkins filled with colored spaghetti or jello every half hour and hilarity ensued. As you can see in the second picture, they gave the wolverines a pinata which they tore to shreds and had lots of fun playing in. They didn't really announce this anywhere, I just happened to stumble on it through the website so there wasn't really a lot of people there, and the weather was nice and cool. It was a ton of fun to watch!

In random zoo news, we actually ate a snack there since we got up bright and early to go and were going to eat lunch after we left at Lenny's like we always do (we LOVE Lenny's!). The menu in the food court is all new with tons of fresh and yummy food, and they redecorated the inside so it looks super nice in there!

This weekend we're going to Halloween in Greenfield Village with Sarah and James, and then next month is Lights Before Christmas and THEN we have Christmas in Greenfield Village! Phew!

The Honeymoon post Part 2

Onto day two of our honeymoon!

We spent day 2 in EPCOT. I made us lunch reservations at Le Cellier, but since we were up and moving pretty early we went over to the park. Our first stop was Captain EO. We had seen Honey, I shrunk the audience a few times, but I had never had an opportunity to see this Michael Jackson show. I have to say, it was fantastically 80's, which didn't stop me from wanting to get a shirt outside of the theater. Interested in seeing it? Here is the first part:

After Captain EO, we went over to the World Showcase to browse around before our reservations.

I had read a lot of great reviews about Le Cellier, so when it came time to make our honeymoon dining reservations, this was the first place I thought of. I heard that it was really hard to get reservations though, and boy was that true. You can start making reservations 180 days in advance, so I set an alarm on my phone to remind me. By around 8amish on the 180th day, I could only get a LUNCH reservation! That's how quick those reservations went, I honestly couldn't believe it!

I had read in a number of reviews that this place had the best burgers on property, so that's what Ronnie got, and I got some baked Macaroni and Cheese in a skillet. Ronnie wasn't overly thrilled with his burger, but my mac and cheese was pretty good and the bread that they give you there is out of this world. All you can eat pretzel bread. yummmm. They also surprised us with a free chocolate 'moose.' Isn't he cute? He was delicious:

(Ronnie in Germany, slaying a dragon)

We spent Thursday the 26th over at Hollywood Studios and then hopped back over to the Magic Kingdom at night.

We actually didn't spend a whole lot of time over at Hollywood studios, but we did everything that we could. Midway Mania was closed and so was One Mans dream. Boo.

Can you believe we've never rode on Dumbo together? The line for it is always insane and this trip was no exception. We were going to try to wait it out this time, but since they are expanding a lot in fantasy land, and I think because it's a small world was closed the whole area felt swamped. I did manage to get this funny picture of Ronnie outside of the ride though. :D

We interrupt the honeymoon posts to bring you..

WEDDING PICTURES!
I got over 800 pictures from the oh so lovely Mrs. Boeve this morning and it was really hard to narrow it down to 20 to post for you guys. After I get all of our Thank You cards mailed out I'll be forwarding a link to everyone so you can see all of the pictures and order some from Amy if you want to! Without further ado, here are some of my favorites:

Little Alexis. She's a little princess :)

In go the earrings.

We decided on the fly that this would be how we would do our kiss. Here we are practicing it under the DC3 in the Henry Ford during our 'first look'

Team Sara (H)!!!

Jessica and moi.
I love the pictures where I'm laughing. They're my favorite.

I love my sisters face in this one haha!
This one is kind of silly, but it's totally our personalities!
Yeah I got cake smashed on my really expensive make-up even though I specifically told him not to do that about a million times. From the looks of this picture, he smashed it on himself better though.

When we were still in the planning phases, one of the ladies in the sales office at the Henry Ford told me that I apparently came up in one of their meetings and she said to me, "So you're the Mac and Cheese bride? That's soooo awesome!" What can I say, I love mac and cheese and this DID NOT disappoint.

When I said I had to take my veil off because it was driving me nuts, Sarah jokingly said "Are you sure you don't want Amy to take a picture of it?" So of course I had to ask her to take it. This is the aftermath of the veil removal.

I really love this picture of Jenda and Justin. It's so romantic :)

This is probably one of my favorite pictures of Sarah. She said she thinks she was probably running away (this is right before the bouquet toss) but she looks like she might just be doing the robot. Also, I crack up when I see Jenda and Amy in the background.

Sharon looks REALLY happy!

Now is as good of a time as any to do a review, don't you agree?

Amy Boeve of Amy Boeve Photography = A++++

Honestly, the pictures speak for themselves. They're so beautiful! What you can't see in the pictures is how patient and sweet Amy is! Sarah and I ordered room service at around 9 am, but I didn't eat anything after that until dinner time. After the ceremony, I was SO HUNGRY and cranky that I was getting on my own nerves. Amy didn't even bat an eye at how badly I wanted to stop taking pictures and eat. AND you can't even tell by looking at the pictures. Amy is AMAZING! I will be recommending her to anyone and everyone that I can, and if we ever need any other kinds of pictures (because she does all kinds of photos!) we will be calling her for sure.

The Honeymoon Post Part 1

Today was my first official day back from work after my honeymoon. While I can't say it was the best day at work ever, it certainly wasn't the worst. After being gone for almost a full month I was really worried that I would forget all of my announcements. I actually DID forget them, but before I went into work last night I spent 30 minutes re-reading and reciting them and I'm happy to report that I still knew them, I think I just blocked them from my memory while being away.

I can't believe how quickly were creeping up on one month of being married! My highlights are growing out, and the sunburn I got while on our cruise has faded into a tan and is slowly fading back into my normal pale skin. I figured it's high time I make an actual post about how our honeymoon went. You're probably wondering why I'm making a honeymoon post before I make a wedding post. Well, I wanted to wait to post about the wedding until after I get our thank you cards mailed out. I'm going to do our thank you cards after we get our pictures which should be sometime soon. Also, I wanted to get everyone's pictures organized and uploaded before posting, so it might take a little while. In the mean time I'll start with our honeymoon since I have all of those pictures uploaded (almost 700!!). I'm going to split the entries so I'm not overwhelmed trying to update. So without further ado, here is the honeymoon post, part 1!

The Sunday morning after the wedding, Ronnie and I woke up rather early for breakfast and to run a few errands. We picked up the tuxedos for Ronnie's groomsmen from out to state to drop off, went to breakfast with the Mickalichs and made our way home before noon. Once we got home it was time to put all of our wedding stuff away, do some laundry and pack. It was almost 8 p.m. before we made our way to my parents to get a peek at our wedding video and to show them our guest book from Shutter booth. It was about 9 p.m. when we got on the road. The road trip was LONG. The good thing about leaving at night is there is almost no traffic, but the bad thing is we were tired almost the whole trip. We had to stop about 3 times to take a nap. We finally made it around 6 on Monday. We didn't have anything planned until Tuesday, so we went to bed to sleep until our 9:50 reservations at the Crystal Palace.

(my breakfast plate at the Crystal Palace. Yum!)
(Ronnie, Tigger and I)

I think I could have happily sat around eating in there all day, the breakfast was so yummy and it's really pretty in there. As you can see, they put a little heart on our table and gave us a card for our honeymoon. It was really cute! We spent the rest of the day wandering around the Magic Kingdom, and then went to EPCOT for the evening.

(from our favorite ride in EPCOT, Spaceship Earth)

We had dinner at la cava del tequila, so I could have another one of their yummy avocado margaritas. They just opened up the new pizza place in the Italy Pavilion, but we actually didn't try it out this trip. We will have to save that for another time.
