Long time no (text) update

Sorry for the lag in text updates, we've been pretty busy around here! I'm sure you could tell from my last picture posts that we were down in Florida visiting with Ronnie's parents and putting our Disney annual pass gift to good use. It was a nice break, but it felt so short! We're definitely ready to go back in 3 months for our honeymoon!

While we were there, we got to open up one of our gifts from Ronnie's parents. It was a beautiful blanket in our wedding colors that Ronnie's mom crocheted. Doesn't it look awesome? (And doesn't Ronnie look goofy?)

A lot of wedding stuff has been happening since my last post so I'll try to catch everyone up!

Dresses: I went on the 12th of this month for another fitting on my dress. Everything fit great, and all she had left to do was the bustle and the hem. The bustle was very very complicated the first time I went in, but at the second fitting we were able to get the points on the side taken out so now it's all in the back. I'm going to pick it up on the 31st and I'll try to get my mom to help me take pictures so you guys can see it. It looks awesome!

My mom and I went with my sister to pick up her bridesmaid dress early this month. I know the gal working at David's Bridal said that everyone should order by the end of April, but Krisi didn't have any problems, and I still see it on their website so I can't imagine anyone else will have any problems if they still need to order.

Alexis' flower girl dress is all done!

She's going to look so cute, I can't wait to see her wearing it!

Vendors: We finished up proofing on our invitations this morning, and they should be going to print this week. I LOVE the way they turned out, and I'm dying to show you guys, but I'd like you to be surprised seeing something. I haven't left very much to the imagination planning wise on here, so I'm hoping you guys are excited to see them too.

In a small sad piece of news, Ronnie's dad won't be doing our ceremony. He's been sick and we really want him to be able to come and be able to enjoy himself without having the added stress of doing our ceremony. I did keep all of his drafts for the ceremony so I'm going to pass them on to our new reverend.

I put most of our vendor final payments in the mail today. So the photobooth, cake, DJ, invitations, and photographer will be completely paid off. That leaves us with the flowers (we can't pay until we make an order obviously and we can't order until about a month early), the reverend (we have to pay cash the day of) our honeymoon and my hair and makeup.

Accessories: I know I was debating on if I should get a ribbon headband or not, but I went with the hair flower. All of the headbands I liked ranged from about $65-95 and I just couldn't justify spending that much money on something that I know I would wear once and then it would sit in my jewelry box or closet until it finally got tossed or given away. I ordered a custom flower (rose) from DK Designs. The flower is made from polymer clay so it should last for a long time and (I think) it looks really real! I know that I will get a lot of extra wear out of it. I'm already looking forward to wearing it on our honeymoon. It shipped out yesterday, so I'll try to take some pictures of it when it comes in.

According to our wedding website, we are exactly 90 days out! I'm SOOOO excited!
