Hello from Disney World!

As I'm sure you've noticed we finally made it to Disney World on Monday. It was a LONG drive! It's been raining a bit here and there, but so far we've been throughly enjoying ourselves.

It sounds like everyone had a really great time,, and we really did too. It was the happiest night of my life! I'll post a recap of everything when we make it back home, but I wanted to post the link to our photobooth pictures in case anyone hasn't seen them yet. Enjoy! We miss you all already!

So much for a 'flurry' of posts

I know I said in my last post that I would probably be going nuts posting, but I didn't realize how many little details I still had left to do. I guess I just thought that since most of our vendor stuff was done that I would be sitting back and relaxing til the big day but boy was I wrong! For example, I spent most of Tuesday on the phone taking care of small things with the Henry Ford for our final meeting. It feels pretty good to have that all finished, but I still had quite a bit left to do! My mom and I are dropping off a bunch of small items on Tuesday like the favors and our cake topper, but our escort cards and programs, which are also on the drop off list weren't even CLOSE to being finished. I go back to work super early tomorrow morning, so I stayed up to the very early hours this morning finishing all the programs and getting the escort cards printed. I can't believe how long the programs took me! If anyone's name is spelled wrong or there is any weird grammar mistakes, you'll have to forgive me. It's not because I don't love you, it's because I just wanted to get those things done! I ended up assembling 50 of them. We're having a little over 80 guests but everything I looked up online said to make just a little over 1 per couple so I'm hoping that it was enough because I can't even think about making any more!

Today is my appointment to get my hair highlighted and trimmed before the wedding. I can't tell you how much I need it! When I get back, the plan is to FINALLY get on the timeline, which I pretty much so lucked out on because my mom gave me an itenary yesterday! Thanks mom! I just have to add in my things like hair and makeup. After that's done I have to e-mail Amy our photographer so she knows what's going on. Finally, the DJ list needs to be finished. I might try to work on some of the lists at work since I'm doing a 4 day trip and will probably have a lot of down time in the airport.

I wanted to add a few pictures to this post, but I'm running a bit behind for my hair appointment so I'll try to do it tomorrow! I hope everyone is having a good week, I can't believe we are less than 10 days away! OMG!

Picked up our marrige license today!

The lady working at the clerks office said she wanted to come to our wedding because she said she could tell we were going to have a lot of fun. :D

There's probably going to be a pretty big posting frenzy in the next two weeks since so much is going on. I hope I don't overwhelm Auntie Judy with all of my posts. haha!

SUCCESS!

I can cross one thing off of my to-do list today! The seating chart is DONE!

Well, okay, we are still waiting for a few RSVP's...but they should be really easy to add in there. Thank God for my mother, she did almost all of the work for this! All I had to do was I enter it into the website and move a few things around.

This apartment is full of crafts!

With less than 20 days to go I've been in full crafting mode! I received our .pdf files to print our programs out so I've been working diligently the last 2 days on them. They are A LOT more time consuming than I thought they would be, considering they are only 4 pages (which is ONE sheet of paper) long! I would guess I've put a good 7 or 8 hours in on them so far and I have TWENTY EIGHT of them done. I'm not really sure how many I should make. I hear that when people make 1 per every person who shows up, they end up with A LOT left over. I know I need more than 28 though....

Here they are in progress, as you can see I was watching a movie while working haha.

A bunch of finished ones. I'm also making yellow ones, but I didn't have any assembled when I took this picture.

I'm putting a different engagement picture in every program. I doubt anyone will notice, but it's been a fun way to use them.

I also started making one of these bad boys to use for our thank you cards. I picked up a few sheets of glittery blue card stock from Crafts 2000 but I didn't get enough so I'll need to head back out there sometime this week to finish this up. I also accidentally left the ribbon at my moms house.

My next 2 crafts to start is my wedding handbag, and a lei for Pepito. I hope I have enough time!

My mom and I went 2 days ago to order our flowers so that's all done! It was the last big vendor thing to do so I was really excited about that! I ordered our parents/grandparents clay corsages/boutineers and they were finished being sculpted last night but I haven't seen any pictures yet. I'm looking forward to that.

Wednesday our marriage license is ready! I didn't realize that we would have to apply, and then come back again to pick it up so I'm glad we went early. I'm pretty excited because the clerks office that we went to is in westland, which is near the ONE Golden Corral that is near us. So that means I get 2 trips in a month. haha!

A few days ago I posted the silly picture of Ronnie in the chapel to my twitter and The Henry Ford replied to it! How fun is that!

Other than crafts I still have a few other things I need to finish asap!
Music list for the dj
Shuttle times for the family/bridal party staying at the Dearborn Inn (this has to be done in the next few days! eep!)
Seating Chart (I think my mom has this pretty much so done. I'm just waiting for those hold out RSVP's)
Time Line. I have GOT to do this for logistical reasons. This is the thing I think I'm least looking forward too.
